저는 요즘 영어로 쓰는 표현만 쓰고 있어서
새로운 표현이나 말하기 토픽 동향(?)을 파악하기 위해
매일 영어공부 challenge를 시작했답니다.
요즘 목표의식도 흐릿, 동기부여도 흐릿해서
정신차리고 뭐라도 해야지 하면서 혼자 할 수 있는 것으로
천천히 계획하고 시작해보고 있어요.
매일 매일 제가 공부하는 것을 순서대로 적으면서 기록해보려고 해요! :)
EBS 라디오에서 하는 '입이 트이는 영어'를 들으며 시작했습니다.가끔 듣다보면 유용한 표현들이 많아요.예전에는 이동하면서 라디오를 많이 들었는데, 요즘엔 뚜벅이에 시간 맞추기도어렵고 해서 하루 중 시간이 날 때! 하려고 해요.
저의 공부 순서는1. 본문 내용 듣기 2. 받아쓰기 (Dictation)3. 단어와 표현 정리 (Words and expressions)4. 영작 (Writing)5. 따라말하기 5번+ (Shadowing)6. 암기 (Memorizing)인데 2번 부터 4번 까지 공부한 내용을 매일 올려보도록 할게요!

Talk about shopping for groceries online
1. Dictation [받아쓰기]
As a full time homemaker, shopping for groceries is one of many pleasures I get out of my day to day life.
But as I avoided crowded places because of the coronavirus, I started to shop for groceries online.
Online grocery shopping has a lot of perks.
Most major supermarkets provide home delivery services, so I don't have to think twice about ordering heavy items.
There are also online exclusives, like coupons or additional discounts.
However, online grocery shopping also has its drawbacks.
Since I can't see for myself the amount of any products, I sometimes overdo it and order too much.
Also, I sometimes become overly engrossed in the shopping itself.
I end up overspending by ordering i don’t need to stock up

A: Where do you usually do your grocery shopping?
B: It depends on when I'm buying.
A: Do you ever shop online?
B: Sure, I order things several times a week.
A: Me too.
B: They offer early morning delivery right to my front door. It’s really convenient.
2. Words and expressions [단어와 표현]

- To avoid crowded places: 복잡한 장소를 피하게 되다.
- To have a lot of perks: 많은 장점을 갖고 있다.
- To think twice about ~ing: 부담이 없다, 고민할 필요가 없다.

3. Writing [작문]
전업주부인 나에게 장보기는 일상생활에서 얻는 여러 가지 즐거움 중 하나이다.

대부분의 대형 마트에서는 제품을 집까지 배달해주는 서비스를 제공하기 때문에, 무거운 물건을 부담 없이 주문할 수 있다.

쿠폰이나 추가 할인 등 온라인 전용 혜택도 있다.

반면에, 온라인으로 장을 보면 단점도 있다.

제품의 양을 직접 볼 수 없기 때문에 때로는 과하게 물건을 너무 많이 사기도 한다.
Since I can’t see for myself the amount of any product, I sometimes overdo it and order too much.
그리고 쇼핑 자체에 과도하게 몰입해서, 당장 필요가 없는 제품도 쟁여 놓기 위해 주문하면서 과소비를 하게 되는 경우도 있다.
