민족사관고등학교 (민사고)

The Korean Minjok Leadership Academy is an independent private high school

located in Hoengseong, Gangwon-do Province.

The school's guiding principle is "raising global leaders filled with national spirit at heart."

The student body of about 450 all live in a dormitory.

Interestingly, traditional Korean attire, or hanbok, was selected as the school uniform.

And yet, students regularly use English during their everyday activities.

As such, they effectively practice self-directed learning.

What's more, students build up experience and a wide breadth of knowledge

through various extracurricular activities.

Plus, there are various special events being held all year long.

These include freshmen welcome parties and barbecue days.
